ZEITGEIST QUICK START GUIDE
This guide tells you how to install batteries ask for time and date and how to set these values. For full details of operation, consult the ZeitGeist User's Guide.
To install the batteries furnished with your ZeitGeist, lay the ZeitGeist on a table with the end having the strap facing to the right. The face with the rough textured bulge should be against the table with the relatively smooth surface facing up. There is a small raised circle about two inches in from the left end of this surface. Move your finger toward you from this circle and you will feel a raised dot. Located just right of these two points is the catch for the battery compartment cover. Place a fingernail under this catch and pry upward. The compartment cover will rise and can be set aside.
Place one triple A battery in the battery compartment with its flat end pointing toward the raised circle. Place the other battery next to it but with its short post pointing toward the raised dot. When batteries are installed you will hear musical tones and a short voice message.
