Recently the developer of Qwitter has ceased development of the program. The files found on this page will also work with The Qube and other clients still in development. The instructions below will also work for them.
We have removed the executable files formerly found on this page. Most computers
purchased recently come with 64 bit operating systems and those files will
not work with them. Detailed instructions for installing the zip files may be found
below. For those of you with 64 bit systems, you'll need to modify
the location where you place the file to the following.
Windows7c. Program Files(x86)
Note the left parron and right paron in the file path.
Accessible Devices is making the following Qwitter sound packages available. These packages have either been created or modified by our own Randy Rusnak as well as other members of the Accessible Devices team. Watch this page for future additions. To install any of the zip file packages follow the following steps.
1. Unzip the package.
2. Go to your local hard drive and then the Program files folder,Remember, in windows
7 , 64 bit, you need to go to programs x86, then Qwitter and locate and open the
Sound files folder.
3. Paste the file you have just unzipped
in the Sound folder and than close the folder and exit the programs folder.
4. Use Control Windows andO to open the Qwitter Options.
5. Shift tab into tabs and right arrow to Sounds.
6. Tab to the Combo box and with the arrow keys select The name of the file package
you have just pasted in.
7. Last either simply press enter on it or tab to Ok and press enter.
Note: Accessible Devices is not able to provide any support beyond what you see here.
The World Of Clocks package has been modified from a previous file. It identifies each different Qwitter function with a different clock sound. It makes telling which type of Tweet came in a snap.

Download The Star Trek Zip FileSince learning that the Qwitter Accessibility Interface would no longer be developed, the Accessible Devices Team has started using the Qube, (Pronounced Cube). We have found it very responsive and since it uses the open source code that Qwitter also did the hot keys are the same. Thus it's a very easy switch. As we mentioned at the top of this page the sound packs also work. You may get a copy of the Qube by visiting the link below.
